Speedy Raw Chocolate Pudding

Ingredients

1 x Soft Avocado
1 x Banana
2 x Medjool Dates (you can use normal dates)
1 x Tbsp Honey or Agave
2 x Tbsp Cacao Powder
1 x Tbsp Flax or Hemp seed oil

This is one of my favourite raw puddings as it is so simple and yet so filling. I warn you, you will not be able to eat a large dinner and then eat this delicious pudding. It is so rich in your essential fatty acids with the avocado and oil that you will find yourself truly satisfied after one bowl. 
 

  1. Split open the soft avocado, scoop out the filling and place in a good blender or a bowl.
  2. Add all other ingredients. Split the banana into manageable sixed pieces; remove stones from dates (if they have them). Spoon in the sweetener of your choice, cocoa powder and oil.
  3. If you have a good blender you should be able to blend it to a smooth consistency. If you have a low budget blender, I would recommend using a hand blender which does the job well without having to add liquid to make it turn.
  4. Refrigerate for approx one hour, and enjoy with a sprinkling of your favourite topping. I like to use desiccated coconut and goji berries.
